Marsal Shop is the first professional charity shop in Egypt, operating under the umbrella of the Marsal Foundation for Charitable and Developmental Works, registered under number 844 of 2018 and supervised by the Ministry of Social Solidarity 

Marsal Shop represents an innovative Egyptian model for charitable sustainability, aiming to maximize the benefit from in-kind donations and transform their value into a sustainable resource that supports the medical and humanitarian services provided by the Marsal Foundation.

How did the story begin?

In late 2023, Professor Heba Rashed, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Mersal Foundation, conceived the idea of establishing the first professional charity shop in Egypt in response to the need to maximize the impact of in-kind donations and diversify sources of support.

The first Mersal Shop branch opened in Heliopolis in August 2024, followed by the launch of the online store in mid-2026, providing a comprehensive shopping experience from anywhere in Egypt.

Why did we launch Mersal Shop?

Because we believe that giving can be more sustainable, and that valuable products can be transformed into vital medical support for patients ❤️
